Omdev’s journey reflects a rare blend of discipline and spirit. He received his early education at the esteemed Rajkumar College, Rajkot (1972–1984) and later earned a B.E. in Electronics. A certified Project Management Professional (PMP, USA), he brings extensive Global Program Management experience and holds multiple professional certifications, including those from Microsoft and Citrix, among others.

Yet, alongside his professional life, an unbroken thread of Yoga has woven through his entire existence since childhood. Today, he is an accomplished online Yoga Teacher, emotional counsellor and life coach.

He is well-versed in the ancient heritage of both the Orient and the Occident, offering a distinctive perspective on Yoga. His practice is grounded in nearly four decades of experience and enriched by formal training at Kaivalyadham and Bharat Yogavidya Kendra, with credentials recognized by the Dubai Sports Council and REPs UAE. Years of living in Japan, the USA, Switzerland and the UAE have further shaped his outlook, deepening his embodied appreciation of universal brotherhood, the true spirit of  वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम् (The World Is One Family).

His approach is deeply rooted in the Integral Yoga of Sri Aurobindo and the primordial Nath Sampraday, which he skilfully blends with timeless therapeutic practices. As a sought-after advisor, he offers couples therapy and guides individuals and groups toward personal and professional growth through customized Yoga, stress management, and holistic lifestyle alternatives. His online classes seamlessly combine Mantra, Hatha and Laya Yoga, guiding students toward the integration of Raj Yoga.

A simple prayer from his Mursheed, Sri M, reflects this universal ethos, a vision that transcends barriers created by various organizations claiming sole heirship of Truth (Al Haqq): “I seek help from all the Teachers, from the beginning of Time, till now, both visible and invisible.”

With reverence and gratitude, Omdev’s path was lit by the quiet radiance of his parents. To his Father, a valiant son of the soil who bore arms in the defence of Diu during the historic Operation Vijay of  1961 and later served the nation with steadfast integrity as an officer of the Indian Police Service until his retirement in  1993, he owes the enduring virtues of discipline, courage and honour. To his Mother, whose serene devotion and boundless compassion continue to sanctify his path, he owes the tenderness of spirit that complements his strength. In homage to his revered parents, whose lives embody the eternal truth of जननी जन्मभूमिश्च स्वर्गादपि गरीयसी, that Parents and Parental homeland are greater even than heaven, flow the twin blessings of fortitude and grace that illumine his journey and consecrate his purpose.
