Though striving, I am not able to recreate the image

Here's an excerpt from "The Autobiography of a Yogi" by Sri Paramhansa Yogananda. Sri Mahavatar Babaji to Sri Yukteshwargiriji:
“I told you I would see you, but didn't say how long I would remain." Babaji laughed softly." You were full of excitement. I assure you that I was fairly extinguished in the ether by the gust of your restlessness."

एक ख्वाब सा देखा हैं, ताबीर नहीं बनती
Though I have seen the dream, I'm not able to decipher it (ताबीर = description or interpretation of dreams)

बेदर्द मोहब्बत का इतना सा हैं अफ़साना
This heartless love has only so much to offer/narrate (अफ़साना = narration)

नज़रों से मिली नज़ारे, मैं हो गया दीवाना
Seeing eye to eye, I got immersed in love (दीवाना = one intoxicated in Divine love)

अब दिल के बहलने की, तदबीर नहीं बनती
Now I'm not able to work a plan (तदबीर: Deliberation or plan) to entertain (बहलने) the heart

दम भर के लिए मेरी दुनियाँ में चले आओ
Even for a brief moment, come to my world

तरसी हुई आखों को फिर शक्ल दिखा जाओ
Please come again and show your face to these ever craving eyes

मुझ से तो मेरी बिगड़ी तकदीर नहीं बनती
I am not able to change my ill (बिगड़ी) fate (तकदीर)
